Eversolo AMP-F8: the power amplifier bulking up the brand's Hi-Fi ecosystem

Eversolo made its name with streamers and DACs — the DMP-A6 and DMP-A8 series above all. With the AMP-F8, the Chinese brand moves into pure amplification for the first time: a Class AB stereo power amplifier designed to drive genuinely demanding loudspeakers rather than round out a mini-system. Unveiled at HIGH END Vienna 2026 alongside the rest of the new lineup (T10, DMP-A8 Gen 2, DAC-R8, AMP-F6, SA200, C10), the AMP-F8 has just landed on Eversolo's official site with a full spec sheet.

A power supply that means business

At the heart of the AMP-F8 sits a custom 800W toroidal linear transformer feeding three pairs of precision MOSFETs in a Class AB topology. Eversolo states a total harmonic distortion of just 0.003% at 1kHz, a signal-to-noise ratio ≥115dB (A-weighted), and a damping factor above 400 at 8Ω — figures clearly aimed at high-end electronics enthusiasts rather than the mass market.

Stereo muscle, or mono for big floorstanders

In standard stereo configuration, the AMP-F8 delivers 180W RMS per channel into 8Ω, rising to 280W RMS into 4Ω. Switched into bridged mono mode, it climbs to 500W RMS into 8Ω — enough to drive large, less sensitive floorstanders, or to form a monoblock pair. That kind of power reserve matters most when a more modest integrated amplifier starts running out of headroom well before the volume gets uncomfortable.

Simple connectivity, built for the demanding

No frills on the input side: one balanced XLR and one unbalanced RCA, both at 10kΩ input impedance. Sensitivity is switchable between two gain settings (5.2V/23dB or 2.6V/29dB via XLR; 2.65V/23dB or 1.3V/29dB via RCA), matching a wide range of preamplifiers and sources. Around the back, a 12V trigger input and output allow system-wide power sequencing, and the bridge-mode terminals are clearly labelled for mono use.

One piece of a bigger ecosystem

The AMP-F8 isn't landing alone: Eversolo presented it alongside the T10 streaming transport, the DMP-A8 Gen 2 series, the R2R DAC-R8, its GaN-based Class D sibling the AMP-F6, the all-in-one streaming amplifier SA200 and the precision master clock C10. The brand is methodically building a complete digital Hi-Fi ecosystem, from transport to amplification — consistent with what we already carry from Eversolo through the DMP-A6 Gen 2, the T8, the Play and the EM-01 calibration microphone.

Availability and pricing
