3-way monitoring speaker
Ganymede is Ex Machina Soundworks' first nearfield speaker. Built on the same core technology and approach as the Pulsar and Quasar, it incorporates a completely new, more compact design with a 5.5" coaxial driver and a 7" subwoofer, while utilizing the same advanced geometries, materials, electronics, and digital signal processing as its larger siblings. It delivers the same level of precision, detail, stereo imaging, and temporal coherence, but in a smaller form factor, with slightly less extension and power headroom.
Custom-built SEAS Titan Series subwoofer
Its low distortion, long excursion design, along with its rigid aluminum diaphragm, provides exceptional bass extension and power for a speaker of this size.
Coaxial Midrange / Tweeter
The latest generation Composite Sound Metamodal TeXtreme membranes are made of ultra-light and ultra-rigid carbon fibers with optimized geometries, allowing for active control and suppression of resonances.
The midrange waveguide, designed according to a mathematically optimal shape, combined with a low-excursion suspension and precise alignment of the acoustic center in a point source, ensures a remarkably homogeneous off-axis response.
An FEA-optimized, ultra-low distortion ferrite motor with a brand-new copper demodulation ring ensures ultra-low inductance.
Electronic
The digital conversion relies on the AKM Velvet Sound AK4493/AK5572 chips, known for their transparency.
Hypex Ncore amplification modules deliver oversized power with remarkable purity and efficiency.
The 5th generation SHARC+ DSP processor offers colossal computing power, capable of processing the most complex operations with extreme precision.
Sealed Valchromat enclosures
Rigid, dense and perfectly damped, the Valchromat cabinet in a sealed design eliminates any flow noise and avoids group delays inherent in bass-reflex designs.
DSP
The proprietary calibration program, developed in-house, fully corrects the frequency, phase and impulse response for a perfectly neutral and coherent reproduction.
