Dutch & Dutch 6c: they have finally arrived in France
After a highly anticipated announcement in late 2025, Dutch & Dutch's second creation is finally arriving in France — and it's already available at Cool Kids Audio. The 6c embodies the entire philosophy of the 8c in a significantly more compact format, without sacrificing any of what has made the Rotterdam brand famous.
The 8c's little sister, not a cut-down version
Dutch & Dutch has made a name for itself worldwide with a single product: the 8c, active controlled-directivity loudspeakers praised as one of the benchmarks of their generation. The 6c is the brand's second model, designed for listeners who wanted the same realism in a smaller footprint. The manufacturer emphasizes one point: it's not a "lightweight" 8c, but a true Dutch & Dutch, with the same demand for precision, transparency, and musicality.
Everything is already inside
Like the 8c, the 6c is a complete system: amplification, digital-to-analog conversion, and streaming are integrated into the cabinet. It features three active channels, a waveguide tweeter, a 6-inch midrange on the front, and an 8-inch woofer mounted on the rear. The cardioid radiation — achieved acoustically, not via DSP — limits reflections from the front wall for clean, controlled bass, regardless of the room.
The system is controlled via a new application: voicing, volume, source selection (analog / AES), measurements, and updates. The speaker can adapt its response to the room's acoustics. For streaming, Spotify Connect and Roon Ready are already present.

Compact, for real
With dimensions of approximately 38 × 22 × 31 cm and weighing 14 kg per speaker, the 6c fits where an 8c would be too much: a living room, an office, a small studio. Its discreet design makes it blend in once placed, yet it remains equally suited for high-fidelity audio as for nearfield or midfield sound work.
Finishes, price, and availability
The 6c is available in standard matte or glossy black and white finishes, starting at €9,899 per pair, as well as in special metallic and textured finishes (copper, cinnamon, stone, ash…) at €10,799 per pair.
Good news: they are in stock at Cool Kids Audio. The matte white color is available immediately, other finishes are by order. Prices are per pair. Dedicated stands, designed specifically for the 6c, are also available.
