Planar magnetic studio headphones

The Audeze MM-100 is an open-back planar headphone designed for mixing, mastering and critical listening. Developed in collaboration with engineer Manny Marroquin, it brings some of the expertise of the brand's high-end models to a more accessible version, designed for professionals and demanding audiophiles alike.

Thanks to its 90 mm planar drivers, the MM-100 delivers fast, detailed and particularly clean reproduction in the mids. Vocals, reverbs, transients and micro-details are reproduced with great precision, making it an excellent working tool for modern audio production.

A neutral, precise sound signature

Unlike many deliberately coloured hi-fi headphones, the MM-100 takes a more neutral, analytical approach. Its bass stays tight and controlled, without artificial emphasis, while the treble keeps great definition without excessive harshness.

This sound signature makes it particularly relevant for mixing, mastering, audio editing and, more generally, any situation where reliable monitoring is essential. The open design also contributes to a wide, natural soundstage, which is very helpful for judging placement and depth in a mix.

Audeze technologies

The MM-100 incorporates several proprietary technologies developed by Audeze, including the Fluxor™ magnetic structure, the Ultra-Thin Uniforce™ diaphragm and Fazor™ waveguides. These technologies improve precision, transient speed and the overall coherence of sound reproduction.

Easy to drive

With an impedance of 18 ohms and good sensitivity for a planar headphone, the MM-100 remains relatively easy to drive. It works perfectly with many audio interfaces, DAC/headphone amps and mobile setups.

Paired with a good headphone amp, it delivers excellent dynamics and an impressive level of detail for its price range.

Robust, comfortable build

The MM-100's frame combines steel and magnesium for excellent durability while keeping weight down. Its suspended headband and comfortable earpads allow long working sessions without excessive fatigue.

The detachable cable also makes everyday use and cable replacement easier.
