Open-back planar magnetic headphones with AMTS tuning

The Dan Clark Audio NOIRE XO is the open-back version of the NOIRE X and the successor to the AEON 2 Open. It features the acoustic metamaterial tuning system (AMTS™) from the brand's flagship models (Stealth, Expanse, E3, Corina) and a new NOIRE driver that is stiffer, more consistent from unit to unit and lower in distortion.

An open-back headphone with real bass

This is what makes it special: the NOIRE XO is one of the few open-back headphones able to follow the Harman curve across the whole spectrum. It delivers powerful bass, usually reserved for closed-back headphones, without sacrificing soundstage or clarity. AMTS eliminates standing waves in the treble for an airy, detailed and never fatiguing top end.

Choose your cable

The NOIRE XO comes with a 2 m DUMMER cable, to choose according to your amplifier:

• 2m Jack 3.5mm + 6.35mm: unbalanced, mini-jack with screw-on 6.35 mm jack adapter. The most versatile.
• 2m 4-pin XLR: balanced, for desktop headphone amps with a 4-pin XLR output.
• 2m 4.4mm: balanced Pentaconn, for DAC/amps and portable players with a 4.4 mm output.

To go further, the headphone is compatible with Dan Clark Audio VIVO cables.
