Class AB stereo power amplifier
The Eversolo AMP-F8 is the brand's first dedicated power amplifier, built to give demanding loudspeakers a comfortable power reserve. It delivers 180W RMS into 8Ω and 280W RMS into 4Ω in stereo, and can be switched to bridged mono mode to reach 500W RMS into 8Ω. A classic analog amplification foundation, designed to complement a high-quality digital source.
Linear power supply and output stage
The AMP-F8 is built around a custom 800W toroidal linear transformer and three pairs of precision MOSFETs per output channel. This sizing translates into a damping factor above 400 at 8Ω, ensuring firm control over bass drivers, and into clean measurements: THD+N of 0.003% at 1kHz, a signal-to-noise ratio of 115dB or higher (A-weighted), and crosstalk below -95dB at 180W into 8Ω. Frequency response spans 10Hz to 30kHz (±0.5dB at 1W/8Ω).
Stereo or bridged mono
Used in stereo, the AMP-F8 powers a pair of speakers with 180W RMS/8Ω or 280W RMS/4Ω. Clearly labelled bridge-mode terminals on the rear panel let you switch it to mono to deliver up to 500W RMS into 8Ω — enough to drive large, less sensitive floorstanders, or to build a monoblock pair by combining two AMP-F8 units. This keeps the system open to future upgrades without undermining the initial investment.
Connectivity and integration
The amplifier accepts one balanced XLR input and one unbalanced RCA input, both with a 10kΩ input impedance. Gain is switchable to match your preamplifier or source's output level: 5.2V/23dB or 2.6V/29dB via XLR, 2.65V/23dB or 1.3V/29dB via RCA. A 12V trigger input and output allow you to manage power-on sequencing across the rest of the system, cascading with other components in the chain.
An amplification building block for the Eversolo ecosystem
Eversolo made its name with streamers and DACs (DMP-A6, DMP-A8, T8, T10). The AMP-F8 is the logical next step on the amplification side, rounding out a coherent hi-fi chain built around an Eversolo source. It was unveiled at HIGH END Vienna 2026 alongside the rest of the new lineup: the T10 streaming transport, the DMP-A8 Gen 2, the DAC-R8 R2R DAC, the AMP-F6 (Class D/GaN), the SA200 all-in-one streaming amplifier, and the C10 precision master clock.
