One speaker, three different listening experiences

The Trio6 incorporates a unique dual Focus mode, allowing the speaker to be transformed according to the working environment. It can function as a classic three-way monitor, a two-way monitor, or a full-range one-way monitor. This approach allows for multiple reference points without changing speakers, maintaining the exact same acoustic signature and placement in the room.

Beryllium inverted dome tweeter

The Beryllium inverted dome tweeter is at the heart of the Trio6's performance. This extremely rigid and lightweight material allows for highly detailed high-frequency reproduction, with very low directivity, excellent linearity, and remarkable dynamics. The tweeter baffle is acoustically optimized to ensure precise dispersion control and a stable stereo image.

"W" membranes: neutrality and low distortion

The bass and midrange drivers utilize Focal's signature "W" sandwich composite diaphragm. This design ensures high tonal neutrality, excellent power handling, and extremely low distortion, even at high volume levels. The result is precise transient reproduction and clear bass and lower midrange frequencies.

Laminar vent and controlled dynamics

The Trio6 features a large laminar vent that eliminates airflow noise and low-frequency distortion. This design ensures a clean, controlled, and usable bass response, even during extended practice sessions at high volumes.

Studio settings and integration

Designed to adapt to a variety of professional environments, the Trio6 offers numerous settings accessible on the rear panel. These include a high-pass filter, LF, LMF, and HF equalization, as well as a switchable automatic standby mode. These adjustments allow for seamless integration into different types of rooms and setups.
