Headphone Amplifier

The JDS Labs Atom 2 is a compact and high-performance headphone amplifier, designed to be as transparent as possible. Inheriting the legacy of the Atom series, renowned for its exceptional audio performance, the Atom 2 further enhances the listening experience with its minimalist design, all-metal casing, and premium components.

The Atom Amp 2 is built with an aluminum chassis and features a more pleasant metal knob.

Even More Powerful

It is also even more powerful than the previous generation. While most headphones only require a few milliwatts, the Atom Amp 2's octo-buffers allow it to reach 2.6 W of power per channel, entirely clean and without distortion.

Dual Inputs/Outputs

The Atom Amp 2 eliminates the need for separate amplifiers and preamplifiers. Connect up to two sources and select the 3.5mm or RCA input with a simple press of a button on the front panel. On the front panel, you'll find both 6.35mm and 4.4mm headphone outputs.

Preamplifier and Volume Controller

Unplug your headphones from the 6.35mm jack, and the Atom Amp 2 transforms into a volume controller for the RCA outputs. Ideal for powered speakers.

Dual-Gain

The low-gain mode is suitable for powering less demanding IEMs, while high-gain will power the most demanding headphones, especially with the 2VRMS level provided by the Atom DAC 2.

High-End Performance

The Atom Amp 2 is more than transparent, with the lowest noise floor of any Atom Amp to date.
