The JDS Labs Synapse is a USB isolator designed to provide a simple and effective solution to noise problems in audio installations. Whether you are using a DAC, an audio interface or active monitor speakers, the Synapse ensures a clean signal by eliminating noise caused by ground loops.

Synapse is a next-generation galvanic isolator that supports the UAC2 standard. It is designed to eliminate ground loop noise without compromising USB sample rates. Its ISOUSB211 technology improves performance by canceling USB signal losses and optimizing the signal timing diagram, while providing ultra-clean, transformer-isolated power.

The Synapse features USB-C inputs and outputs, and comes in a sleek machined aluminum enclosure with a glass base. For added convenience, all the accessories needed to connect to standard USB ports are included.

480 Mbps USB throughput

The Synapse transmits equalized high-speed USB data at 480 Mbps, fully supporting UAC2 compliant audio devices.

Galvanic isolation

Synapse completely isolates your audio gear from your PC, providing up to 100mA of USB power through its low-noise, transformer-isolated LDO regulator.

Eliminates ground loops

No optical input? No problem! Synapse effectively eliminates ground loop noise from devices like active monitors, delivering a clean audio signal.

Compact case

Designed to save space, Synapse is housed in the most compact enclosure on the market. It integrates seamlessly with your USB device.
