The SourcePoint 10 Master Edition refines Andrew Jones's famous coaxial driver with an optimised crossover, better impedance linearity and a new treble level switch for finer integration into the room. Built around a custom 10-inch driver, it is the result of several years of development aimed at delivering extended frequency response, very low distortion and remarkable musicality.

Micron-level precision for absolute accuracy

MoFi has revised the high-density neodymium Twin-Drive magnet system and paired it with an optimised crossover and a user-accessible tweeter level switch. The result is pure, realistic and lively sound, perfectly suited to your listening room.

It is not enough to optimise the frequency response of the woofer and tweeter: it is just as essential to minimise distortion within the driver's motor itself. A motor that distorts generates spurious frequencies that are not in the original signal. That is why this motor was designed to extremely high standards.

The Twin-Drive system creates a perfectly symmetrical magnetic field, eliminating flux modulation and achieving extremely low intermodulation distortion (IMD). This technical feat largely explains the purity and precision of the SourcePoint 10's sound.

New adjustable Master Edition crossover

The Master Edition crossover is the brain behind the SourcePoint 10's optimised sound. Designed around carefully selected components — polypropylene film capacitors, metal film resistors and air-core inductors — this circuit splits the audio signal with great precision, sending each driver only the frequency range best suited to it. The filter slope maximises coherence between woofer and tweeter, for perfect integration and exemplary phase alignment.

Built into the new crossover, the 3-position tweeter level switch lets you instantly adjust the high-frequency level. In the "High" position, tweeter presence is boosted for heavily damped rooms; the "Mid" position is the factory-calibrated balance, ideal for most environments; the "Low" position attenuates the treble to soften reflections in bright, reverberant rooms. Because this switch is built directly into the crossover circuit board, there is no compromise on signal purity.

Premium cabinetry, braced for maximum clarity

A large-diameter driver requires a substantial cabinet — but above all one that is perfectly controlled in terms of vibration. The SourcePoint 10 uses thick MDF panels combined with extensive internal bracing to eliminate any spurious resonance.

The top, bottom and sides are made of 25 mm thick MDF, clad in real wood veneer. The faceted baffle is machined from 50 mm thick MDF, then covered in an elegant satin black finish.

Two internal braces connect the top, sides and bottom of the cabinet, further increasing overall rigidity and ensuring highly accurate sound reproduction.

10" coaxial driver: two drivers, one voice

Custom-developed by Andrew Jones after 18 months of research and development, the 10-inch coaxial driver offers remarkable clarity and a bass foundation that is both deep and punchy.

Its 10-inch paper-pulp bass cone has 2.5 times the radiating area of a conventional 6.5-inch bass driver. It therefore needs very little excursion to produce full, dynamic sound. This low excursion keeps a constant waveguide around the tweeter, ensuring maximum coherence, minimal distortion and generous bass.

Placed at the centre of the bass driver, the 1.25" soft-dome tweeter has a wide-roll surround and a large-diameter voice coil. Its high power handling and very low thermal compression allow it to be crossed over from 1.6 kHz, while offering a smooth response beyond 30 kHz.

These two drivers work as a single entity to produce sound that is pure, coherent and powerful.

Easy to drive with the electronics you love

With a sensitivity of 91 dB, the SourcePoint 10 can be driven with as little as 30 watts. Its nominal impedance of 8 ohms, which dips only slightly, makes it easy to pair with most amplifiers, tube or solid-state.
