Reviving the golden age of FET
Inspired by the golden age of FET pickups, the 1973 features a version of the legendary Bomblet capsule, which dates back to 1953 at AKG. It was refined by LOMO in the early 1970s and was later redesigned by Soyuz engineers.
A microphone to last
Soyuz pickups aren't cheap but they are built to last. the 1973 is a sub-€1,000 alternative to other Soyuz microphones. The main thing is there: a beautiful capsule in a solid and durable body.
Press
"It's up to you whether you like the Soyuz color, but there's no doubt that it's in the same league as the AKG 414, Neumann TLM103 and others. The 1973 is a wonderful microphone. A future classic?" - Audiofanzine - Rating of 9/10
