Warm sound and total control

The Lakeside is designed to be warm and intuitive: it lets you work quickly and easily find the perfect sound while staying in your creative flow.

The input gain switch sets the signal at the optimal level, with the desired saturation, in 5 dB steps and with a satisfying click. The output knob controls the output level, leaving you free to choose the input gain. With these two controls, you can explore a wide range of sounds with simple settings, and pair several Lakesides for precise stereo matching on mic pairs or stereo sources.

The Lakeside is versatile: it can offer subtle colouration with plenty of headroom, or be pushed into gorgeous dynamic saturation and harmonic distortion you won't find in any plugin.

High-pass filter and tone shaping

The in-house inductor-based high-pass filter adds a new dimension of control and creativity. The switch targets frequencies from 40 Hz to 330 Hz, with a musical resonance that goes beyond simple filtering. It quickly sculpts your sound with a natural roll-off and a slight bump that preserves the feel of the take while encouraging you to experiment. Whether you are cutting unwanted low frequencies or adding clarity to your mix, use the filter's resonances to discover new sounds.

DI input and versatility
