The Launcher Deluxe features two signal paths to handle both microphone and line-level signals simultaneously. Each path features two hand-wound toroidal transformers—four in total—paired with the same analog circuitry that made the original Launcher so famous. Unlike other microphone boosters, the Launcher Deluxe isn't just about flat sound; it adds a distinctive color that you can adjust based on how hard you push your preamp.

More modes and options

Each Launcher Deluxe channel offers two selectable modes: Launcher Mode and Saturate Mode to suit a variety of situations. Launcher Mode provides 26dB of gain and color to dynamic or ribbon microphones. Switch to Saturate Mode to bypass the extra gain and add classic Launcher character to any condenser microphone or line-level signal.

Launcher Mode

Launcher Mode is ideal for enhancing any dynamic or ribbon microphone. When you activate a single or dual channel in Launcher Mode, simply connect your microphone to one of the two Neutrik combo connectors on the front of the Launcher Deluxe and then plug an XLR cable into the back to your preamp, mixer, or audio interface. Once phantom power is activated, you're ready to enjoy 26dB of gain and transformer color. You'll reduce the load on your preamp while giving your take a new sonic identity.

Saturate Mode

In Saturate Mode, the Launcher Deluxe becomes more than just an inline microphone preamplifier. It gives active microphones, condensers, or line-level sources the characteristic sound of the original Launcher, without adding any gain. Phantom power is not required in Saturate Mode to benefit from the rich tones of the Launcher Deluxe. If your condenser microphone requires phantom power, simply enable it on your preamp, mixer, or interface, and it will pass seamlessly through the Launcher Deluxe.
