If you've ever struggled to get a finished sound with your audio interface's internal preamps, try the Launcher. Place it between your mic and your preamp (such as your console or interface) to get the sound of a vintage console.

The Launcher gives your sound a vintage console feel.

This warm character is provided by the in-house transformer, which was hand-wound. It will make you reconsider your use of dynamic or ribbon microphones.

Whether on stage, in the studio, or at home, the Launcher gives your microphones the ability to color your sound using any interface or preamp. It boosts your source's gain by 26 dB and reduces the amount of audible noise in your signal chain.

Listen to the Launcher

Listen to what the Launcher does to a single SM57 and a UA Apollo 8pmkii's internal preamp. All passages were adjusted before recording and there is absolutely no processing at the input. Both tracks are mixed identically using only volume and pan. There is no EQ, compression, etc.
