Active 3-way dual-woofer midfield monitors (pair)

The Telegrapher Gorilla S keeps the Gorilla's sound signature while doubling the woofers: two 22 cm drivers per speaker for much more headroom, with a 6 dB gain. It can be used as a left/right stereo pair or as a center channel alongside two Gorillas. The listed price is for a pair of speakers.

The Gorilla signature, with two woofers

Each speaker houses four drivers across three ways: two 22 cm woofers with black anodized aluminium cones, a 12 cm midrange with a patented paper cone and a 2.5 cm coated textile dome tweeter. The sealed cabinet maintains tight bass and fast transients, with a 35 Hz to 20 kHz response (f3 at 61.5 Hz, f6 at 50.5 Hz).

Analog filtering and dedicated amplification

True to Telegrapher's approach, inspired by luxury automotive processes, the Gorilla S combines active analog filtering with three class D amplifiers per speaker (2 x 500 W + 100 W). Amplifier THD+N remains very low (0.0018% / 0.0016%) and peak SPL reaches 113 dB at 1 m. Shutdown protection with LED alerts and a configurable standby (120 min or off) complete the package.

Center or stereo

In an LCR setup, the Gorilla S takes the center channel position between two Gorillas, with a perfectly matched timbre. As a left/right pair, it is aimed at larger control rooms and high-level sessions where dynamic headroom matters. Available finishes: Telegrapher Grey and Trooper White.
