Compact, foldable open-back planar magnetic headphones

The AEON 2 Open is the evolution of the AEON Flow. Dan Clark Audio redesigned it using the driver technology of the Ether 2, its former flagship, in a much lighter and more portable format.

Sound

The AEON 2 Open offers a warm, fluid signature, with full bass, rich mids and smooth, never harsh highs. The V-Planar planar magnetic driver brings the speed and low distortion typical of this technology. A headphone suited to long listening sessions, in hi-fi as in the studio.

Build and comfort

• Nitinol headband (shape-memory nickel-titanium alloy), carbon baffle and machined aluminium: rigid and very light
• Patented folding gimbals: the headphones fit in a remarkably compact case
• Comfortable earpads for long sessions
