Telegrapher Panda: the 3-way midfield monitor is a 2027 NAMM TEC Awards finalist

The news landed at the end of September: the Telegrapher Panda is a finalist at the 42nd Annual NAMM TEC Awards. For a brand founded in Istanbul in 2024, and a monitor unveiled less than a year ago, that's no small recognition.

Verdict on January 28 in Anaheim

The TEC Awards are NAMM's yearly honours for outstanding pro audio gear and technology. The 2027 winners will be announced during The NAMM Show on January 28, 2027, at the Hilton Pacific Ballroom in Anaheim, California. Telegrapher calls it an important milestone for the brand and for everyone who worked on the Panda.

Telegrapher made its name with high-end, fully analog, hand-built monitors like the Gorilla and the Fox. With the Panda, introduced at NAMM 2026 alongside the Raccoon, the Hippo and the Carbon Fox, the brand set out to bring its pursuit of accuracy and musicality to a more compact, more accessible monitor, without giving up the principles behind its larger systems.

The Panda is still a true 3-way design: an 8" woofer, a 4" midrange and a 1" tweeter, with a hybrid analog crossover and two Class D amplifiers per speaker. No DSP in the signal path.

A passive radiator instead of a port

The Panda reaches down to 35 Hz thanks to a passive radiator. The idea: extend the low end the way a bass-reflex port would, minus the air noise and compression that come with it. The result is fast, controlled bass, in a dense HDF cabinet that keeps resonances in check. Built for confident midfield work, in a home studio or a mid-sized control room.
