Premium Headset Adapter for PS5

This cable designed by JDS Labs allows you to connect headphones to any DAC/headphone amp, while still using the microphone portion of your headphones. No additional adapters are required.

Connecting to PS5

Plug your headset into the female jack. Then, connect the 3.5mm male jack to your PS5 controller for the mic signal, and connect the 6.35mm (1/4 inch) jack to your headphone amplifier.

Important: Make sure to connect your USB DAC to one of the USB ports on the back of your PS5. Front USB ports can cause interference.

Connecting to PS4

This cable uses the CTIA standard, making it compatible with PS5 controllers. However, most PS4 controllers use reverse wiring for the microphone signal, meaning you'll need a CTIA/OMTP adapter.

Connecting to a PC / Laptop / Smartphone

You can also connect this cable to a CTIA headphone jack on a computer or smartphone. This standard is used by the majority of headphone jacks in North America.
